We think they know what they are doing. Some of us don't fee this way. We see our voted in Sen. being swayed and bought off by corporate lobbying, designed to be in the interest of the corporations ...not Americans at large. Proud and patriotic folks and their offspring, hug their lovely babies goodbye and off they go to die for a war, many would believe actually hold the USA hostage to foreign oil and it's politics. The oil debacle has been known about for decades. What has our enlighted Fed. done about this? Precious little except to expose us more, quadruple our legal population and allow illegals to invade and burdern us beyond that. In the meantime, we cater to and foster easier lives for people that come here as invading illegals. They come for work, for better lives and to undermine the efforts of the American populace to earn a decent wage. This entire horror is perpetrated by corporate America and it's filthy rich owners. So, we pay our taxes to educate and illuminate foreign illegals that may some day very likely, claim our land as their own. In the meantime, we send our loving flesh and blood to die for the corporations of America. What little tax money that is left from the "investment" in illegal cheaper labor is used to buy munitions to kill "terror" suspect and innocents along the way, casualties. In the process the children/adults that think they are fighting for their country are killed and cruely crippled. It's time to change this. But only when Americans can see this truth will anything change. Hopefully it won't be too late. We do this generally because we TRUST our government. We think they know what they are doing.
