Someone did suggest some form of system where all Americans can be assured of a good education up through the university level at the working class price....but of course that would be 'socialism'. I mean why bother to pay for an educated population when our trans-national corporate godfathers can import all the human capital it wants from other countries. That keeps their taxes low while some other sucker pays their employees education. Sounds like a plan. No kiddin'! I guess we’ll never know as nobody has ever suggested such a thing. I don't know if government should set the wage. But education should be free for all because everything changes so quickly. It's better to have people doing something and inspire more creativity.
